LOKA pledging on Continent
LOKA pledging on Continent is coming to LOK!
The LOKA pledging Page & the Basics
HOW: The pledging page will open on the LOK webpage. On the Pledging page, you can select any continent you want to pledge the LOKA.
The total LOKA pledged on the continent will determine the pledging tier of the continent.
You can find the total LOKA pledged on each continent on the Dashboard and the Pledging page.
On the Dashboard page, you can check the tier and the ranking of each continent. Also, you can check the ranking of each individual within the continent.
You can leave a message when pledging. It will be displayed on the ranking page.
On My Pledging page, you can see the continents you’ve pledged. Here you can add LOKA or unpledge as much as you want.
There is NO minimum time for redrawing the pledged LOKA. You can unpledge LOKA anytime you want.
The LOKA pledged will be recorded on UTC 00:00 every day. The LOKA pledged on UTC 00:00 will determine the day’s tier of the continent each day.
Tier & the Pledging Bonus
The total LOKA pledged on the continent will determine the TIER, which will determine the pledging tier bonus.
The LOKA pledging on the continent is only related to the in-game buffs. It is NOT about yield.
The LOKA amount for each tier is NOT fixed. After the initial launch, there will be adjustments to the value of the LOKA threshold to reflect the initial amounts of LOKA pledged. Also, the value is subject to change depending on several variables, including the future market movement of LOKA.
The ‘NEW’ tier is for the newly created continents. The new continents will be protected for a certain period of time before receiving their tier.
For the first month after the launch, all continents will be set to at least on the ‘NEW’ tier, even if they didn’t reach Tier 3 or above, meaning all the bonuses will be at least 100%. This is to give the continents time to prepare for the pledging.
The initial adjustment period can be prolonged to more than a month if needed.
Purpose
The main purpose of this update is related to the regen bonus.
There are several inactive continents that are actually filled with bots for farming purposes. Reducing the regeneration in those continents will hamper the bot farm’s productivity.
For the few highly populated active continents, the current regeneration rate can be insufficient for everyone. By pledging LOKA you can increase the productivity of your continent.
CVC bonus (NOT YET IMPLEMENTED)
The CVC LOKA reward will be tied to the LOKA pledged on the continent.
Only the continent with a certain tier or above will be able to receive the LOKA reward in the CVC.
It will NOT affect the in-game rewards, such as the reward from conquering objects for the first time or the final reward.
The qualification for the CVC bonus will be determined based on the average LOKA pledged during the CVC month. Even if the continent went below the threshold for a few days, the continent can make up for it within the month.
As this is a major change in the game, this part of the update will be not applied at least until the next major league CVC, which starts on 27th FEB.
Other Considerations
We have received a lot of questions and concerns from the community regarding the LOKA pledging update. We want to make sure that the details and LOKA threshold are NOT set in stone.
For the initial first month, the minimum tier will be set to ‘NEW’ even if the continent didn’t reach Tier 3 or above. Also, the CVC reward part will not be applied at least until the next major league CVC.
During this first month, we will actively make adjustments to refine the system and adjust the LOKA threshold. There are a few things in consideration, which will be applied after the launch; we’ve received quite a few suggestions and requests from the community as well. So, let us share some of them here.
Here are the things that are under consideration for adjustment:
Migration: We are planning on loosening the migration limit. The degree is still under discussion, but we believe that easier migration is mandatory for this continent-based LOKA pledging system to work.
Personal Benefit: Due to regulatory issues, there are some difficulties in giving personal benefits from the LOKA pledging. However, we do believe that having a personal benefit is important in raising interest and motivation.
Though there’s a lack of regulatory guidelines on this matter yet, we are actively discussing the possible way to give personal benefit from the LOKA pledging within the boundary of potential regulations.What will happen to the CVC LOKA reward, if the continent does not reach the pledging tier to receive the CVC reward, and yet occupy a prize position?
In the current set up, the LOKA will stay in the reward pool for the later CVC. However, we are looking into some possible ways to utilize this LOKA for some other reward for CVC.
UPDATE on the Continent selection page
The continent selection page is already updated to include the tier symbol, where you can click to open the tier bonus page. On the future update, we will add a timer to indicate which continents are participating in the coming CVC.
This new features will become a guiding indicator for the users who are looking for a continent to migrate.
CLASHING in CVC objects!
During the CVC object battle (such as the gates, fortresses, and the Ancient Temple), when the battle timer draws near the end, the battle goes into the ‘Clashing’ state. It is a desperate melee where both sides are mingled in chaotic havoc to win the object.
Only the attacks registered up to the start of the ‘Clashing’ will be calculated during the ‘Clashing’ state. Neither side will be able to send any more troops into the battle until the result comes out. The troops sent during the ‘Clashing’ state will bounce off.
If the current owner of the object wins at the end, the battle will end. If the ownership changes, the timer will renew and the battle will continue.
PFP NFT as Profile image
You can now set PFP NFTs as your profile image. Currently, only a handful of NFT projects are selected, but this is the initial phase of PFP NFT updates. More features will be added in the future.
Features to be added in the future:
Add the PFP NFT of your choosing by inserting the contract address
Set certain PFP NFT as the main NFT of your alliance
and more to be added!
Fixes in points
Fixed the issue with some types of battle reports not being assigned to the correct filter on the Battle page.
Fixed the issue with reports from attack and support of the different alliances of the same continent not showing correctly on the Battle page.
Fixed the issue with the support troop turning into an attack when the owner of the object is changed.
Fixed the issue with the monster attack animation not playing full-time during the Monster Invasion event.
Fixed the “Drago” translation not being applied in some languages.
Fixed the Monster Fortress to not show the information menu when the player is touring on the continent.
Fixed the issue with the field object menu the player clicked when touring other continents lingers when the player returns to the original continent.
Fixed the issue with the icon not showing when the player share the Monster Fortress location.
Fixed the freezing issue in the AP potion pop-up page.
Packet compression is applied to the data on the Battle page.
Fixed the issue with the player’s event quest table not matching the continent’s event quest table.
Fixed the issue with multiple quests from different continents activated at the same time, resulting in multiple dragon eggs received as the quest reward.
UI / UX improvements
Added “Ready” animation on the Monster Fortress.
DRAGO Mystery Box Event is LIVE🐉
DRAGO MYS BOX GIVEAWAY event is launched with over 30 partners starting from 2nd Jan to 15th Feb. The event will be all social events leveraging glip and gleam for 5 consecutive days per each partners.
This is our first time giving out Dragos and land lvl 6s and hope this would give our LOK players a little consolation for the delay of our Drago content launch with our utility token $DST. LFG 🚀 🚀 🚀

About League of Kingdoms Arena (LOKA)
League of Kingdoms Arena (LOKA) is League of Kingdoms’ native governance token and will be the cornerstone for the game project’s expansion into metaverses where a community of gamers can own and thrive.
The LOKA will be utilized as the currency inside the League of Kingdoms game franchise for all in-game store purchases, such as purchasing packages, skins, and goods. Additionally, the LOKA token will act as an NFT booster to create, upgrade, and acquire special NFT assets, including but not limited to Drago and Skin NFTs. The token will be also used to propose and vote on on-chain governance proposals to determine future features, policies, content, and/or parameters of the game. Last but not least LOKA tokens can also be earned by playing the in-game competition and/or achieving special tasks — for example after each Continent vs. Continent (CvC) battle, winners will be rewarded with LOKA tokens (and potentially rarer NFT item rewards) depending on the performance during the battle.
